Safari and arrival at Mbulu

Today's post from Hughie, Luke and Milo:

'We all had a wonderful night's sleep in incredibly comfortable beds last night.

We had probably the best breakfast so far and set off very early for the Ngorongoro crater. The crater offered some great safari. Highlights included a family of lions walking within touching distance of the car. We had an exhilirating lunch next to a lake full of hippos. The birds flocked around us, and we also saw some wildlife. The dusty savannah light revealed the noble hyenas stalking their unwitting prey.

Everyone was pretty pooped by the end of the safari, and after a brief foray in the shop to pick up some essential pringles we returned to the guesthouse. We all had a soft drink in the bar and soon we were on the road again, now headed for mbulu. After a dusty and bumpy car ride we arrived at the seminary. We are all eagerly awaiting another early start for swahili catholic mass tomorrow morning
