The team are now all safely at Barafu Camp and apparently all looking strong which is great.
Tonight they will attempt the summit - departing at 23.45 Tanzanian time - 21.45 UK time.
They have sent us the following blog post for today - let's wish them all luck:
"We started today with a generous lie in until 8am which set us all in a good mood to climb 500m in height to base camp at 4600m. It is Rory's B'day today and there is no better place to spend it.
It is encouraging that we are all farting as that means that we are all climatising nicely apparently!
All that is left now is for us to rest and give pedicures to one another. The summit is looming over us and we leave at midnight to climb the equivalent of Ben Nevis."
We will keep you updated on their progress.
